The casings are made from a very mild steel and then coated in an extremely high temp lacquer. Both of these traits protect your chamber from premature wear. It's a Glock I have shot the 9mm and 40 steel case in my Glocks no issues the stuff can be a bit dirty if you have wolf tula brown bear ect I say go for it. Only issue I have had with steel cased was with my AR15 shooting Tula .223 I have the occasional jam but hell $5.17 a box for 223 wally world special. WebBarrel can wear out depending on ammo you shoot. If you shoot shit steel case ammo it’s going to wear your barrel faster because of the type of bi metal used in the bullet casing. If a gun can’t run steel it doesn’t deserve brass is what I’ve always said. But steel case is like running 82 grade gas that’s got some water in it.
