WebMar 6, 2024 · As you have figured out, the GECK is the main tool for making mods. The GECK doesn't make assets though, only mods. Assets (3d models, animations, etc) are made with different tools. For Fallout New Vegas, texture assets have to be in dds format. The game can't use jpg textures or other common formats.
