WebThe first gen M&Ps have a solid pin, they are impossibly hard to get moving the first time. You need a roll pin punch (good one) and probably a starter punch to get it moving. Some kind of lubricant would be helpful too. Are you putting it in a vice, armorer's block, or at least a piece of hard wood?

My other M&P 2.0 the block works 100%. So I have a gun not safe to carry and likely will be disqualified in IDPA if an inspection is done. Obviously I have to send it back to S&M.
